The unemployment rate is very low – about 3.7%, whereas our national average is 5.3%. This tells us jobs are plentiful and most are employed as needed.
LOCATION
Loudoun is located about 30 miles from Washington, DC (our nation’s capital). DC is best known for its museums, memorials, and government headquarters and is probably one of the most educational vacation destinations in the US. But it is also a fun city to explore with a wide variety of entertainment, outdoor recreation, great restaurants and plenty of places to relax and people watch.

Did you know that the Washington Redskins training facility is located in Loudoun? Living here, you may even sit next to a Redskin while out to dinner with your family. One of our favorite things about being close to DC is that within a short drive or ride on the Metro, you can watch a Washington Nationals, Capitals, Wizards, or a DC United game!
